What even are these?

These characters are a side project of mine, loosely inspired by Steven Universe Gems but metals instead of rocks, and eventually I'm gonna make all 78 metals.

But, I figured the idea is too good to keep to myself, so I'm making them a semi-open species.  I'll keep making the "canon" designs and lore, and anyone can just take the parts they like for their own projects. Even if you don't buy these models, you're free to yoink the designs.
